  1. Interesting note. While it is true that talent or status alone doesn’t make one successful, it’s the hard work and efforts that really pay off, as opposed to if the opportunities are just handed down to their feet. I should add that another important trait for success is patience-that’s really the driving force behind all work.

  2. Yes, I agree with both of you. Tenacity and patience are the most important assets—the tale of the tortoise and the hare comes to mind. It’s that idea that you will never give up, and that you will keep moving towards your goal, despite any setbacks that come along and even if it looks like others are sailing past you.
