Billy Graham’s powerful final sermon

EVANGELIST Billy Graham delivered what is being dubbed his final “sermon” this week. Through a special video broadcast called “The Cross,” Graham warned that the nation is in “great need of a spiritual awakening” and that he has wept over how far the nation has moved away from God.

“I want to tell people about the meaning of the cross … the real cross of Christ,” a passionate Graham proclaimed in the video. ”I know that many will react to this message, but it is the truth and with all my heart, I want to leave you with the truth.”

“People don’t want to hear that they’re sinners. To many people it’s an offense,” Graham proclaimed. “The cross is offensive, because it directly confronts the evils that dominate so much of this world.”

  1. I wonder what Billy Graham’s take is on the 50 priests that married a gay couple, given that he urged people to vote against gay marriage in Minnesota. Come to think of it, who is right? Billy boy or the 50 priests?

  2. A powerful witness of God’s love and goodness, especially by the woman featured in the video. She was suicidal, but God already knew that and unbeknown to her, had arranged a divine meeting, thwarting her plan to end her life. Truly awesome!

And I love Billy Graham’s simple message of salvation. It is Christianity in a nutshell. Look what the Lord has done for us. Thank you Jesus!
